To celebrate the launch of our new mentoring course, we're offering 10 lucky poets the chance to experience for free, our in-depth poetry development course, in a 3-session course over 3 weeks, with renowned Teaching Artist, Anita Govan.
5 novice poets can learn the benefits of poetry and develop their ability, how to build text and generate ideas using different methods. They will look at different elements, forms and techniques when creating poetry. These sessions will be fun and informative.
5 seasoned poets/teachers can refine their existing skills: looking at how they can use poetry in different education/community settings, using different subject matters, exercises and methods to engage people. Examine its benefits of and including how to use group/slam poetry. This is a rare opportunity to benefit from Anita’s extensive experience of working in communities.
